Just recently bought a UPS (powerware/Eaton 5110 UPS rating 500va) I have connected it up via USB cable to the imac and cant see any UPS settings energy saver settings for it. (i have read that once it is connected that they should have extra settings under this menu) I have also tried restarting. The device DOES appear however under the USB bus in the system profiler. (About this mac) So i know its not the usb cable or the device itself. For some reason i dont think that OSX is recognising it correctly.
