for keyboard shortcuts. 1.0.0 Sep 15, 2014. GB-Music Totally Useful I purchased this app to go along with To FLAC Converter software. It does well to edit tags and add artwork.

It does a good job of adding tags from the internet but I find where I add my own tags to go along with how I orginaize my music. It is easy to add artwork, and tags for any attributes that you need to change. As a feature, I would like to see the ability to change shortcuts as you are stuck with what is done. I use the highlight column feature the most and you have to hit 3 keys to do that function. Beyond that, it really works well. I use this to play music in my car at high res.

CD’s sound to me so much better than MP3’s but FLAC files are the way to go if you want high res audio in your car. Rip to your computer with To FLAC Converter, Orginize with the Tag Editor, and copy to a memory stick for use in the car.

TRmoviefan Does the job efficiently I played with the free version for a few dozen music files and liked the way it worked, so I bought the “lifetime” version to get rid of the “sign up for monthly or yearly” prompt that kept coming up every few songs while loading or saving. If I hadn’t planned to do several thousand files at once, that wouldn’t have bothered me at all, so the program is usable as “free.” (Note: My laptop hard drive crashed, and my backed up music lost a lot of tags, album art, etc., and using iTunes to retag all these things is a nightmare.) Minor gripes:. It always fills “album artist” with the name of the album. I have to highlight the entire column and tell it to “revert” to blanks. Not sure if the programmers don’t know that album and album artist aren’t the same thing, but I can live with it.

I’d love to have a column for “disk #” in addition to “track #.” I have some multi-part CD collections, so “Track 1” listed four times isn’t very helpful. It’s a minor annoyance to have to clear stuff out of “Comments” that the app puts in, but similar to “album artist” above, I can highlight the entire column and “revert.” Worth the price. Jtomelevage I want to give this 5 starts but. I purchased the converter app from this developer which ties into the free version of this tag editor. After wait-click, click, wait-click,click, wait-click-clicking for an hour with the nagging free version I purchased the paid version here. That fixed the wait-click, clicking four times per mp3 file but what I don’t like is that both the free and paid versions embed the developers website address in all your mp3 files.

Some of the website addresses you can remove by paying attention when you edit the mp3 tag, but some you cannot. Pros: Nice app that does the job well. Cons: Lame unnecessary embedding or website address in all your mp3s even on this paid version. Jtomelevage I want to give this 5 starts but.
